A favourite amongst Welsh runners, The Newport Marathon has been named one of the fastest marathons in the world. With this year seeing the event be expanded into an exciting festival of running, I was tasked with producing a fresh new identity to accompany this

The identity pays tribute to the city’s distinctive architecture, drawing inspiration from the iconic Newport Footbridge, which marks the start and finish of the marathon. The vibrant and contemporary colour palette features a bold yellow, enhancing brand recognition across various assets, including medals and merchandise.
